Driver Subjects are recognized for being more difficult and along with the challenge, they give us important content.
We aren’t saying that a Mockingbird Academy student is ready to take that class at a University; we are saying we’ve come up with a game that will let great students show their greatness.
We recognize several things:
- Students in a Driver Subject class spend a substantial amount of their study time learning basics needed for the Driver Subject
- Students may also spend a lot of time relearning an idea that they have seen before, because they never achieved a good comprehension of it when they learned it
- Some of the ideas (or even many) in a Driver Subject might be of the kind that tend to “run away” when you try to “catch” them. We aim to use these to teach our students to become better hunters
