Ergodic

A system is ergodic if the time averages and ensemble averages are equal.

If we throw a million pairs of coins, we expect each of the four microstates to share 0.25 of the probability.

If we change things so that coin flip secure automatically at a set interval, we expect to see that for each microstate, the two coins spent 1/4 of the time in that microstate.
