The adjective ‘inertial” means that there is no gravitational acceleration. A gravitational acceleration would impose a force that would change velocity.
The expression uniform rectilinear motion applies. The uniform motion part tells us that velocity of the object does not change and the rectilinear part tells us that the objecy moves along a line.
