Product Rule

Assume we have 2 functions, f(x) and g(x) and that we decide to take the derivative of their product.

We will use a prime mark to designate a first derivative:

f'(x)=\dfrac{d}{dx}f(x)

and then

\dfrac{d}{dx}[f(x)*g(x)]=f'(x)*g(x)+f(x)*g'(x)

(fg)’=f’g+fg’
