Roots

Let ‘a’ be the square root of ‘b’.

a=\sqrt{b}

(a)^{2}=(\sqrt{b})^{2}

a^{2}=b

Moving on to cube roots:

2*2*2=8

The cube root of 8 is 2.

\sqrt[3]{8}=2

2*2*2*2=16

\sqrt[4](16)=2
