Special Calculus, like Special Relativity, has simpler math because there are no sources of gravitational acceleration present. All functions are straight line segments. All velocities are constant.
For single variable calculus, integration is the calculation of the area under a function. Because the functions are straight lines, you can use Geometry and Algebra to calculate area.
Distance Traveled
Assume you travel with a velocity of 100 km per hour for 4 hours. How far will you travel? You probably know the answer from your personal math methods–let’s get the answer using Special Calculus.
Plot a graph of velocity in km/hr vs. time in hours.
