Temperature

Temperature and Heat are two different concepts.

Temperature carries with it that if you put two things in contact with each other and they are at different temperatures, the one with a higher temperature will decrease in temperature and the other will increase in temperature until the two are at equal temperatures.

Temperature has units of Kelvin (which can be converted to Celcius or Fahrenheit).

Heat has units of energy, Joules.

For calculations involving heat and temperature we have the idea of Specific Heat.
